This CD is on of the reasons. It has my FAVORITE Tanturi tango, El Fondin de Pedro Mendoza, which no DJ seems to have ever heard. (They don't have this CD.)
DiSarli used to be my favorite orchestra. but I found I listened more to Tanturi.
Very few overlapping selections on the 1940/1950 and con sus Cantores 1940-1948 CDs.
The music is intense, not loud, and feels like you're riding a roller coaster.
