I've been to milongas where the music is predominately Tanturi, Pugliese, DiSarli, and D'Arienzo with Troilo mixed in. Donato is usually overlooked. Just because his orchestra isn't as popular as the others isn't a good reason to ignore him.
This is a great companion CD to Donato 1936-1945 because there are only 2 overlapping tangos on both discs: Repique del Corazon and Sentir del Corazon.
This CD has my FAVORITE Donato: SinSabor.

Excellent cd by Edgardo Donato, including many good vals, milongas and tangos. My favorities are Scale Punta, La Melodia del Corazon and A Oscuras.

I like this cd, it is full of good songs for milonga's, I like #11 for later in the evening , and the milongas are very nice

Who would of thought there would be so many great songs on some obscure CD from Euro Records. Definitely worth buying.
